Adult Crafting: Paper Dolls

Saturday, March 2211:00 AM—2:00 PMConference RoomRidgewood Public Library125 N Maple Ave, Ridgewood, NJ, 07450

Paper dolls are one of the oldest forms of play and design. In this monthly gathering, participants will have a chance to return to (or discover!) a favorite childhood pastime. Each participant would have a chance to bring in a paper figure (an actual paper doll, figure from a catalog or advertisement) suitable for dressing via collage or drawing. In the process, they'll have a fun opportunity to research historic costumes from other eras or flex creative wings to create something new.

Paper doll artists and fashion illustrators will be invited to share tips and discuss the history of paper dolls as a vehicle for play and design.

The meetings are open to people of all artistic abilities: we'll learn and draw inspiration from each other.

Capacity: 12 of 12 spaces available.
